To see a few pics from the recording date go to the photos page on our website. The project is wrapping up quickly and there will be a few surprise guest appearances to reveal at the end.
Wow! A new album? i’m so excited…i hope there is a duet with you and Sandi Patty…You and Sandi are my fave singers of all time, i hope the 2 of you can come back here together in Manila Philippines and do a concert. Thanks
Hmm. There will be some high notes, but not the huge ’80’s endings. The peaks are within the songs. But don’t discount what’s coming. I’m really excited about the passionate and emotional songs on this new recording that communicate the gospel.
I am thrilled to hear that you are working on a new project, I have all of your CD’s and I am blessed and encouraged by your music and testimony. When are you expecting to release this recording? I want to be sure I dont miss it.
That’s what I love about “In Brokenness You Shine”. It has a wonderful climax, but then ends softly. “I want to see Your beauty one more time..” Oh my goodness, my dad loves to sing that part!
Thanks for the concern, but no, I’m well with a busy schedule this fall. I’m not sure when we will be able to return to Columbia, but it would be great.
Steve… you helped me and my wife a few years back… I greatly appreciate it. We have been through some very deep waters lately, but God has been faithful to bring us through. Thank you for your music that continues to uplift the Savior and pierce the heart of the child away from God. I pray that God will give you clarity of voice for many years to come.
This summer my husband and I were blessed to travel the National Parks of the West. We were able to listen to a variety of worship CD’s along the way and have concluded that NO voice captures the views in the Cascade Mountains like Steve Green! To hear
“Proclaim the Glory of the Lord” in that setting was beyond words. My journal reads…”Steve Green is the male vocalist who captures the mountains with his voice! Great Worship.” I’m so thankful that the Lord blessed you with such a gift and that you very humbly have shared it with us all through the years. May God continue to use you in powerful ways!

I am relatively new to your music but was pleased to hear you’re recording a new album. When I read your Twitter, however, I found indications that the new project–your first proper studio project in five years–will be in Spanish. You see, Steve, my only languages are English and German. Now here I am at my computer, listening to your music and that of Pink Floyd and sobbing about this language barrier. PLEASE provide translations of the lyrics in the liner notes if you can!

Edward, I did record a new Spanish project, but also a full English studio project that should be released early next year. I am thrilled about it. I’ll give a specific release date as we get closer.
Hi Bro. Steve, I am so looking forward to your new project and I have an idea of some of the “surprise” guests, but I will leave that to you to divulge…LOL I have all your CD’s (and your first record….still listen to that record)…..and your work and your heart always blesses me! One of my very favorite albums of yours is Somewhere Between!
Hope to see you on the concert path somewhere along the line! Happy New Year and God Bless you!

No big secret, Melissa! I did one song with David Phelps and Wes Hampton, and I sang a duet with Michael English. I’m still waiting to hear of a release date from our marketing people. Blessings to you in the New Year!
Oh boy, I can’t wait to hear the one you did with David and Wes! I can’t get enough of the performance of “It Is Well” you did with Wes a couple years back. You are two very gifted gentlemen. Any news of a release date yet…?
How can I get your singing books without ordering them to be sent here to Wellington New Zealand, I love your range in your music and would like copies of them, so I hope you can give me some idea on how I can avail of them, in a cheaper way and sing those beautiful songs for our church. Thanks and God bless you and your ministry!

Thanks John, but I’m afraid not. There will be a duet, however. Can’t say just yet who it will be with.

Hi Steve,
If I would permit me to ask a question, about your new album, that focuses on your vocal artistry and dexterity:
Will there be some sustained high note (A natural / B flat), with operatic vibrato, grand endings that we have all come to love?
Respectfully, perhaps in future recordings, would you consider a Sandi Patty/Steve Green duet?
Okay…I guess that was two questions.
Love your music and your heart Steve,
Tim
