El Descanso (New Spanish Album)
This is Steve’s seventh Spanish recording and includes classic favorites from many of his English recordings. A few years ago Steve met Yusin Pons while on a trip to Cuba. Yusin is a celebrated and gifted musician and offered to help with translation needs. His work is phenomenal and enabled Steve to finally record songs like We Believe, Immortal Invisible, Will You Forgive and many more. A bi-lingual concert choir from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, TX under the direction of Jonathan Wall and led by Devon Howard graciously offered to spend a day lending their voices to this project. The project was produced by Greg Nelson, Steve’s long-time producer, and friend.
