The sunset was breathtaking. In fact, I stopped the car on a back road to catch a fleeting view and count the exquisite shades of color. Just for a moment the sight awakened something within, a longing to not only gaze upon beauty but to enter into it. Then the glow dissipated and we drove off. I heard myself sigh.
