I started writing this while on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ, meandering through beautiful neighborhoods of vacation homes.  Of course, discontent is not a location, but a condition of the human heart, a condition only God, by His grace, can change.  I asked my nine-year-old granddaughter, Georgia, to sing this with me.  Her childlike declaration of being satisfied in Jesus is beautiful.
My restless heart needs rest, O Lord
From the endless search for more
For something in me deep inside
Keeps wanting more than You provide
Yet in my wanderings far from You
I keep returning to this truth
That You are everything I need
My contentment and my peace
My heart is filled with gratitude

You feed the birds so faithfully
Though they cannot sow or reap
